The best thing Josh Groban has ever done is this tribute cassette for Casey and His brother. (from tim and eric) This is probably a little bit better if you know the original songs.
Nothing funny about tns

I was beating up my gf after a scarf fight turned deadly, and i told her i was gonna bend her in half like a taco and i would eventually get TNS. Then i thought it was hilarious, but then i realized nobody understood the TNS reference. So, next time i make the TNS reference, everybody study up.

shower

I just heard jake fall down in the shower, and his excuse was that his girl threw a towel in his face and he couldn’t see. (sorry jake, but it was pretty funny).

I went to RonToms in portland (sunday) to see a FREE show by one of my favorites: Tallest man on earth. We got seats front row in the middle , and we showed up 30 minutes before the show started. It was rather packed, but people didn’t seem to give a fuck, and it worked out in our benefit. One of the best parts was that we ordered Shirley Temples and forgot to pay, so they were free!( And if anybody knows anything about when jake and I get together, there are bound to be a little grenadine and lemon/lime soda floating around.) But, we did buy a poster, and I got a shirt, so we didn’t feel bad.

Very sorry for the sideways video, but i’m mac illitarate and don’t know how to turn videos 90 degrees, dumb, i know.

I’m staying with my good friends Mike Malone and Jake Johnson. I love them, but their house is freezing, and unfortunately i don’t have much meat on me to keep me warm. Although my chin area is doing just fine. My GF is 17 hours away right now in sunny san diego probably sleeping with the windows open. Although i hate the heat, i would probably rather be in her environment. But, i do love portland, and i love my pals even more, i guess the logical thing to do would be to have her here on this air mattress with me, because she is basically the equivalent to a furnace in my bed, plus she is one of the koolest people i know.
I went to the goodwill super center today, the only thing super about it was the super high prices, and the super low amount of mens clothes in my size. I ate at Noodles, my favorite mac and cheese dish and got entirely too full. I also browsed through powells/buffalo exchange/jackpot records(overpriced)/american apparel(overpriced) and the Levi store up on 23rd. I got some jeans, the Deer Tick vinyl and a Herman Hermits record, i keep hearing them at work and now i get cravings to hear them at ho me. I picked up jake from work and we headed to a music store on 1st street and then watched most of the first season of East Bound and Down. My favorite parts have got to be when he’s giving the ’suck it’ signs, or slam dunking his tray into the garbage. We definatly drank ovaltine and ate some triple stack pb sandwiches with old nutella and honey.
Now, i’m laying in bed too excited to sleep because we’re going to the zoo tomorrow because it’s the cheap day, Rain or Shine!! Mike is very excited to see the monkeys, i’m excited to see a lion/tiger (hopefully be able to pet/play with it.), jake is excited to see the domesticated siamese cat exhibit. I’ll try to let you know how that goes, and also i’ll upload a Tallest Man on Earth video from the show on sunday.
home show

I had my house show on thursday with The Woodlands and BeatBeat Whisper. Dustin R. gladly gave up his home for a night, apt2f would be a disaster for a house show. Maybe 30-35 people showed up, and hopefully more people will pull through next time knowing that i can arrange a quality show. I don’t mean to smell my own farts, but the shows were fantastic.
sam and hannah. A Very nice couple. They got lost trying to find the house and ended up in Shady Cove.

Beatbeat Whisper with the help of Brian on cello, and Eric on drum/cystal wine glass.

Foxy Ayla and brother Davyd Nereo. Great voices must run in the family. They’re on their way to some great things.

I was able to pick up The Woodlands debut album, and also both BeatBeat Whisper albums, AND davyd gave me a copy of his solo stuff, and Ayla gave me two cds with her solo stuff on it. They got a lot of material between the two of them. I’ve been listening to it all non-stop. I reckon i’ll keep you folks updated on any future shows.
